Join the Chocolate Lovers gang as they celebrate Valentine’s Day in their usual fashion – with hair pulling, cage fighting, and farm animals!” (description from Goodreads)
Having recently finished the Chocolate Lovers Series by Tara Sivec, I jumped right into Hearts and Llamas in order to keep the hilarious characters and antics fresh in my mind.
The only real complaint I have with this story is that…it ended. That’s what reading the series does to a reader. I enjoyed Sivec’s books and this story so much that I’m sad there is no more (at least as of now). This story, while it’s short in length, gives readers a little more enjoyment and keeps with the spirit of the three novels by not lacking in being outrageous and hilarious.
The characters I grew to love are all in here, along with a llama. It’s a great little Valentine’s themed story for anyone looking to laugh. Just be sure to have read the series first, or I don’t think a reader would be able to fully appreciate (or be prepared for) the comedy that is the Chocolate Lovers Series.
