Brandon Fury

The odyssey
a hobo’s
dreams in the mirror;
sailing alone around the room,
hand to mouth.
The sharp teeth of love,
a paradise lost;
this lonesome traveler,
on the loneliest road in america

Robert Zimmermann

Beatric Munson
on the island
just after sunset.

the silent girl,

runaway twin.

Sleeping murder
(the heart is
a lonely hunter).

I love you.

The stand
between hope
and history.

Sole survivor
anchored in
Forever Changed.

As always, please send in your Prose Verse Babel submissions! I love sharing other reader’s poetry in this series. If you’re planning on submitting, make sure to email me a picture of the stack of books and the text of the poem how you’d like it to read. Do this before 7PM EST every Monday in order to get it in that Tuesday’s post 😀
