Robert is a writer. Most of the time his thoughts will grace the pages in the form of poetry, but occasionally some short pieces of fiction will show their faces. His work mainly touches on experiences that shape who he is today and are emotionally engaging but easily accessible to those not familiar with much poetry.
When Robert isn’t writing for himself, he’s writing to help others. In his blog, A Life Among The Pages, Robert posts numerous book reviews, interviews, and other book related posts to help out fellow writers in any way he can.
How qualified is Robert for all of this? Well, he holds an A.A. in Humanities and a B.A. in Creative Writing. Basically it boils down to him having a lot of downtime living at home. At least he has a cute puppy to keep him company while he’s writing.
His debut collection of poetry, From Where I Stand, was published in November 2012.

Hello, Robert. I like your hat, it is very nice. Just out of interest, is it actually black and white?
That river/lake behind you, have you ever accidentally fallen in it?
PS – Kayla Curry paired me up with you for this upcoming blogger book fair. It’s gonna be ACE!
Of course, as a girl, my first thought is, what kind of puppy?
A black lab mix. Possibly with some sort of terrier. He ran out of the woods last August, so we don’t really know much more about his history.
Already in love with him! Love Labs. They are good dogs and mixes (aka mutts) are even better!
I, too, am a writer. Working on two very different pieces right now. Poetry is one…coming very deeply from my soul at this point in my life.
Hi, new to this, lost at sea right now, Have written a couple of novels, awaiting feedback from anyone.
Also have dog to keep me company hes 12 and things hes a puppy…. some never grow up! K
I really appreciate your support on Goodreads and Twitter, Robert. I’m just starting out as an indie author and I’ve got so much to learn. I write The Zarulium Chronicles YA sci-fi series. Cheers, Chris
Beautifully stated.
Hey Robert!
I just wanted to inform you that you’ve been nominated for the LIEBSTER AWARD! For more information, visit my blog at http://rebeccavancedotcom.wordpress.com
Hi Robert! Thanks for following my blog. I’ve seen you on Twitter a bunch and some tweets from others about your poetry! I’ll have to check it out soon. I haven’t read any poetry in a long time. I forgot how much I love it!
Gosh, now I want to write a poem. Lol. <3

Hi Robert! I don’t know if you do awards, but I nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award because not only do you write, you post lots of reviews: http://carrieslager.wordpress.com/2013/03/01/the-very-inspiring-blogger-award/
Hi Robert, I would love to submit a review request, and I do respect addressing you individually! I couldn’t find an email address though, and you wished to be addressed only by email. Can you send it to me? Thanks. author@scottspotson.com. I have sci-fi and fantasy, and you’ve said you like these.
Sorry about that. Recently did a complete overhaul of the policy and I overlooked adding the email address into it again. I just edited the policy. You’ll find the email there now
Thank you for pointing this out. Only slightly embarrassing.
Mr. Zimmerman, thank you for following me on Twitter. I happen to be a twitter virgin. It’s not my favorite social site. I just can’t seem to warm up to it. Actually I think I’m a boring little person. Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi.
