Hello all!
Rob kindly invited us to guest here to talk about Dead on Demand which is our (co-authored) debut novel. We’re Dan and Sean Campbell and earlier this year we set ourselves the challenge of writing, editing and publishing a novel in 90 days (with no prior experience).
This free run is your chance to decide if our challenge was a success. From September 4th to September 8th Dead on Demand is being offered absolutely free of charge on Amazon as Kindle download. Those of you without a Kindle can still benefit as Dead on Demand is DRM free which means you can convert it for use on Nook or other eReader using Calibre. It can also be read using Amazon’s free Kindle App.
Finally, for those of you who prefer a paperback copy we’ve got one to give away. Simply leave a comment on this post and Rob will pick the most interesting comment (in his sole discretion) to receive a paperback copy. Giveaway ends September 9th, 12:01AM (EST) and the winner will be choosen shortly after. This offer is good anywhere Amazon ships and we’ll get it sent straight from them as we’re awful at making it to the post office promptly (and Amazon will be weeks quicker for international shipping!).
We’ll leave you with a brief extract to whet your appetite and if you like the sound of the story you can download it from:
Thank you again to Rob for so kindly inviting us over!

With suspicion clouding her judgement, it was often hard to be sufficiently empathetic.
The news clearly came as a shock. Mrs Sugden just sat there, silent. A tear rolled down her cheek.
It was her sister who broke the silence.
“How did Peter die?”
Hayley paused. It was an odd situation. She had dealt with murder victims, accidental deaths and even cot deaths in the past. Death by self defence was not in her repertoire of expertise.
“He drowned in the river Thames. I’m ever so sorry.” It was the truth. The widow didn’t need to know the specifics of how he ended up in the river.

I downloaded “Dead On Demand” today. It sounds really intriguing! Due to the queue I have from my blog, I’m not sure when I can get to it, but I look forward to reading it.
Thanks for grabbing a copy! Don’t worry, we all have HUGE TBRs. This one’s on mine, but it’s back a bit in the list as well.
You are not helping my book buying addiction! I got this book today. It sounds very good. I haven’t read any crime stories in a while….I used to read it all the time. The reviews were great and have certainly made this book sound very intriguing. I’m so glad I saw your twitter post and found out about this book. Thanks!
